The Butcher's Brew club is a social group for home brewers that meet on the third Monday of every month in the pub. They've been a fixture here since our first year of opening and as well as meet ups have a facebook page and group for discussing all things about home brewing and beer.
All levels of experience are more than welcome and at the meetings you're can bring your own home brew along, taste other's and compare notes. If you don't have any home brew your more than welcome to bring along an unusual or interesting shop bought beer! The club also organises specific events like meet ups with local brewers, blind tasting nights and off-flavour identification.
The brew club also regularly organises collaboration beers with local breweries and have been to Vibrant Forest, Unity, Dancing Man, Steam Town and Fallen Acorn to name a few.
